Concetti S.p.A, manufacturer of the world's most prominent weighing, bagging, and palletising equipment, will provide Covap, Coooperativa Ganadera del Valle de los Pedroches (Andalucia, Spain), with an advanced packaging line for animal feed.

Covap is cooperative of 4500 producers with a strong presence in the milk, meat and animal feed industries.

After 20 years from the first packaging system installed by Concetti at Covap factory, the Spanish cooperative have once again chosen the latest Concetti technologies. The Italian manufacturer will provide a fully automatic complete packaging line for weighing, bagging and palletising of animal feed.

If there’s a “traditional” product in the long and successful history of the Concetti company, that is certainly animal feed; as a matter of fact, our packaging lines have accompanied the growth and development of this production field in our area first, then in Italy and nowadays in the whole world, improving and upgrading our bagging lines and always keeping quality as our travel companion.

In addition to ensuring highest levels of cleanliness, the installation offers a considerable flexibility for product changeovers. The completely automatic format change, which requires no manual modification by the operator, allows the handling of different feed and a wide range of open-mouthed bags, with one unique system.

From multinational to small enterprises: over 2000 Concetti systems have been installed all over the world, with 40% of them bought by a loyal tried-and-true customer base.

The new project have been developing in collaboration with the representative Boga Técnica.

Concetti will be present at the Fispal Tecnologia fair, taking place in Sao Paulo (Brazil) from 25 to 28 June. Our stand (D142h) will be dedicated to technologies for the filling, closing and palletising of pet food and feed stuff.

Fispal Tecnologia is the largest event for professionals working in factories of food and beverage industries or seeking to open a company to industrialize. The event presents the main market trends for these sectors, new solutions and technologies for the entire production line, regardless of the size of the company. Including packaging systems and solutions.

Concetti S.p.A. has been developing, designing and manufacturing automatic machines and complete lines for animal feed packaging since 1975, allowing manufacturers to avail of concrete experience in the packaging of the most difficult materials. We have installed about 100 systems for the pet food industry all over the world.

Concetti is pleased to announce the official launch of a collaboration with Automaint Solutions to provide maintenance and technical assistance for Concetti products in Australia. The Australian company, headquartered in Keilor Park, has almost 50 years of experience in the automation and technical assistance of highly mechanised systems including packaging systems, and stands out for its dynamic and professional presence in this field.

The new I-Flex, the Concetti bagger for open-mouthed bags, featuring infinite versatility, simplicity and compactness, will be presented for the first time at the Figan animal production fair in Zaragoza (Spain) from 19th to 22nd March 2019. The acronym is "Infinite Flexibility" which indicates the great flexibility and potential of a bagging machine born to work with fully automatic format change and a very wide range of bag widths from 250 to 600 mm. I-Flex offers the possibility of managing various types and closure of paper, raffia and plastic bags with just one system. The new model, fully automatic, is part of the IGF Concetti series, "Industry 4.0 compliant" machines, celebrated on the market for more than 40 years for their great reliability and efficiency.

There is also the packaging technology of Concetti in the largest production plant in the world of POM. Kolon Basf innoPOM has inaugurated its new polyoxymethylene (POM) production plant in Korea. The new production with a capacity of 70,000 tonnes/year, combined with Kolon Plastics’s existing POM production capacity of 80,000 tonnes/year, creates the world’s largest POM production facility, with a total annual capacity of 150,000 tonnes/year. POM resins are engineering plastics used in complex and highly durable components.

Concetti has supplied four complete lines the packaging of that high quality plastics granules. The Italian manufacturer makes multifunctional weighing, filling, closing, palletising systems for packing plastic granules in bags. 

Roberto Borgarelli (on the left side in the picture), General Manager at Concetti, has received the supplier plant award during the inauguration ceremony at Gimcheon, Corea.

Concetti is proud to have contributed to this effort with its packaging and palletising technology.

Concetti recently celebrated a century of activity in manufacturing by inaugurating the expansion and modernization of their Bastia Umbra headquarters facility, a fully digital and interconnected industry 4.0 factory, where packaging and palletising systems for bulk products are produced and exported to over 60 countries worldwide.
The expansion will help to make Concetti more efficient and productive, in preparation for the supply and installation of new systems in the coming years.
The project represents a €5 million investment and will add over 8000 square metres to the plant, increasing both office and assembly space.
On September 15th, Teodoro and Giuseppe Concetti, owners of Concetti S.p.A with their sons Riccardo, Francesco and Emanuele, officially opened the new extension with more than 700 invited guests, symbolically embarking on the second centenary of manufacturing activity. A large delegation of agents from all over the world took part in the Concetti Centenary event.
After guided tours of the factory, a dinner party was held in the headquarters during which, the company's century long history was retraced and new challenges for the future launched.
From the first family workshop, started in 1918 by the blacksmith Domenico Concetti in Central Italy, carried on by Francesco Concetti and right up to the present day with Teodoro and Giuseppe who, since 1975, have consolidated the company's activities in packaging machinery.
In 2012 the company opened a subsidiary in the United States, Concetti North America Corp, based in Atlanta, Georgia and marking the beginning of a multi-year expansion project with the first overseas branch office.
Over the last 5 years, with the invaluable contribution of the fourth generation of the Concetti family, and thanks to forward looking and professional management, turnover has grown by 40% (to €38 million) and Concetti now enjoys an even more formidable reputation in the worldwide packaging industry.
