In the Concetti range, the industrial robot arm palletizer ‘Compacto’ with layer squaring and compression, is unique, combining the flexibility of the industrial robotic arm with the ability to compact and compress the layers, more typical of conventional layer palletizers. This recently introduced fully automatic hybrid system can handle up to 1200 bags / hour.

The strengths of the Concetti industrial robot palletizer for bags
Many applications involve finished bag sizes and shapes which are less than ideal in producing perfectly interlocked alternating layers, particularly where packs are only partially filled, perhaps with unstable, aerated products. Some degree of overlapping is often required and the combined action of the programmable side compacting devices plus layer top compression using the underside of the stripper plates, helps to guarantees a well squared pallet which is both stable and secure.
