Concetti North America Corporation celebrates its 10th anniversary at PACK EXPO Las Vegas (September 11-13, 2023 | booth #SL 5808) .
The US subsidiary of the Italian Concetti was founded in 2012 and became fully operational in 2013. First in a site with spare parts warehouse in Hoschton, Georgia; then, in 2021, in a new, larger, and more modern facility in Braselton, about 45 miles away from Atlanta.
“The idea was to create a building that would meet every need of our customers in the US, shortening distances, closely understanding the evolution of the market and the needs of companies in the sector,” explained Francesco Concetti, President of Concetti North America. “Concetti North America provides consulting services and handles the sale of automatic packaging and palletizing systems and complete lines manufactured by Concetti in Italy for almost 50 years, as well as providing technical assistance throughout the United States.”
The Italian company Concetti, one of the most important manufacturers worldwide of automatic machines for weighing, filling, sealing, and palletizing for bulk solid products and powders, has been on the US market since the 1990s. The first line, an IGF600 bagger for prefabricated open-mouth bags designed to pack California almonds at Blue Diamond Growers in Sacramento, was exported in 1995. A first successful plant followed shortly after by others, in the chemical, petrochemical, and food sectors.
Today Concetti, thanks also to a network of agents and the positive partnership signed in 2015 with Bratney Companies, an important engineering company that supplies processing and packaging machinery and design solutions at an international level, has installed about 140 automatic lines in almost all sectors that require packaging in industrial bags from 11 to 110 lb.
In addition to the success in the agricultural sectors (43% plants sold), in animal feed and nutrition (20%), in the food sector (25%) with flexible and reliable automation systems for packaging prefabricated open-mouth bags, Concetti has introduced innovative solutions for the packaging of aerated powders. Particularly in the cement, chemical, special chemical industries with Form, Fill, Seal technology, offering customers compact, clean, and strong bags. On top of this, a high-quality technical assistance throughout the life cycle of the machine.
