IGF Multifunction Bagging Systems
Automatic bagging machine IGF
The Concetti IGF is a fully automatic bagging machine designed specifically for filling and closing readymade open-mouth bags. Because of its particularly small and compact dimensions, it can be installed in any existing production environment.
The IGF bagging lines are highly versatile: the self-adjusting features of the various components of the system allow the same machine to fill and perfectly close flat or gusseted bags in a range of 2-50 kg, made of paper, PE or PP raffia.
THE IGF CAN BE EQUIPPED WITH NUMEROUS BAG-CLOSING PROCESSES: | |
SIMPLE SEWN CLOSING STITCHING AND APPLICATION OF STRING STITCHING AND APPLICATION OF CREPE TAPE STITCHING AND APPLICATION OF ADHESIVE TAPE HOT-MELT CLOSING HEAT-SEALING PINCH-TOP CLOSING |
The IGF can be coupled with either net or gross weighers using gravity, belt or screw-feed systems, depending on the product to be bagged.
To minimize setup times, the PLC-assisted format change is fully automatic - in just 90 seconds - without any operator intervention whatsoever.
Our IGF comes complete with inspection doors and safety devices compliant with the current EC regulations.

A versatile automatic weighing machine
The Concetti IGF automatic bagging machine is renowned for its versatility and vast array of functions. One of the most useful one is certainly the weighing component: the IGF lines can be equipped with net or gross weighers using gravity, belt (mod. NET/N) or screw-feed (Gross/CC) systems, based on your needs.
Despite its small dimensions, the IGF machine can count on some powerful weighing components, like a three position motorised bag magazine which guarantees incredible accuracy.
Each one of these automatic weighing and bagging machines has different ranges. Let’s quickly see them:
- IGF 600: 2-50 kg;
- IGF 900: 2-50 kg;
- IGF 1000: 2-50 kg;
- IGF 1200: 2-50 kg.
IGF weighing systems are quickly adaptable and super efficient: format changes can be fully automated and executed in less than a couple of minutes. Talk about efficiency!
The ultimate bagging and sealing line
This automated closing product guarantees an extraordinary range of sealing options, thanks to the number of solutions you can choose from: all of these alternatives are made with high-quality materials, to ensure dust-free and spillage-free bags. Let’s analyze them quickly:
- Simple sewn closing: the bag is closed by stitching its open mouth using a sewing machine, creating a secure and durable seal;
- Stitching and string: this method involves stitching the package’s open mouth with added string for reinforcement, enhancing its strength and ensuring it can be easily carried or tied;
- Stitching and cream tape: a layer of crepe tape is applied to the stitched area, providing additional reinforcement and stability to the bag closure;
- Stitching and adhesive tape: adhesive tape is applied over the stitching to secure the closure. It ensures a tight and tamper-evident seal;
- Hot-melt closing: this technique involves using a heated adhesive material to seal the bag's open mouth;
- Heat-sealing: heat-sealing utilizes heat to melt and fuse the bag's opening edges together, creating an airtight and secure closure;
- Pinch-top closing: the bag's open mouth is gathered or pinched together, creating a temporary seal that can be easily opened and resealed. This method is often seen in resealable bags or pouches.
Concetti automatic sealing machines are a safe investment: bag stability and airtight closures avoid any leakage, making the IGF 600 sealing machine reliable and safe. This steady bagging line handles production cycles gently and minimizes the generation of fine materials, while also representing a relatively easy machine to move around.
As mentioned before, each machine is equipped to provide different performances, to satisfy different production needs:
- IGF 600: 600 bags/hour, 10-14 kW of installed power;
- IGF 900: 900 bags/hour, 10-14 kW of installed power;
- IGF 1000: 1000 bags/hour, 14-18 kW of installed power;
- IGF 1200: 1200 bags/hour. 14-18 kW of installed power.
If you’re looking for an ATEX-compliant machine with industry 4.0 standards, look no further: the IGF fully automatic bagging machine is the perfect line to produce package in a steady, clean and safe way.
