Concetti introduces IMF ālĕs, a fully automatic bagging line for pre-made, open-mouth bags, engineered for high-output pet food operations.
The system achieves up to 2,000 bags per hour in the 3–20 kg range, combining high productivity, consistent reliability, and premium package quality.

The name ālĕs, derived from Latin meaning “winged” and “fast,” reflects the core philosophy behind the machine: speed without compromise. Built with high-quality materials and components, IMF ālĕs is designed for long, uninterrupted production runs, even in 24/7 operating environments.
All of Concetti’s proven strengths are confirmed, including automatic bag size changeover in just 60 seconds, with no manual intervention. Advanced sealing technology ensures consistently secure closures, helping maintain freshness, palatability, and shelf life.
IMF ālĕs also delivers exceptional flexibility and customization. The system can be equipped with a wide range of optional devices, including:
- bag coding and labeling systems
- vacuum or Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)
- re-closing solutions with zip or Velcro®
Drawing on its deep knowledge of the pet food industry and its specific packaging challenges, Concetti has developed a dedicated Velcro® bag opening device.
The system automatically separates Velcro-sealed bag flaps that may stick together, ensuring the bag is properly opened and positioned before the filling spout.
With sustainability in mind, IMF ālĕs can seal not only traditional packaging but also recyclable mono-material bags, recently tested and validated by Concetti. The extensive use of energy-efficient brushless motors ensures smooth, gentle handling of both product and bags while reducing overall energy consumption.
A fully open and transparent machine design provides excellent visibility throughout the production cycle. All internal areas are easily accessible, simplifying cleaning and maintenance activities and minimizing downtime.
