Concetti is going green

Concetti takes a significant step forward in environmental sustainability. The new industrial photovoltaic (solar panel) system installed on the roof of the Bastia Umbra plant is now fully operational and can reach a power of 475 kW on sunny days.

Following its vision for ethics and sustainability, Concetti have invested in transforming solar energy into electricity, reducing the use of fossil fuels and the production of carbon dioxide, the main cause of the global warming. Since the installation of the solar system a few months ago, the emission of 51 tonnes of greenhouse gases has been avoided. As an example, this is equal to planting 172 trees in sixty days, providing a direct contribution to the protection of the environment and the fight against climate change.

This intervention, financed with POR FESR 2014-2020 funds, will reduce the company's energy costs by 60% and, together with the installation of low energy LEDs throughout the company, represents a further step forward in the innovation and modernisation started by Concetti SpA in 2018, with the expansion of the factory and the digital transformation of the Industry 4.0 company.

Concetti are also pleased to announce the measuring of its environmental impact of all activities to implement a plan of social responsibility, guiding the company’s corporate culture and business goals in the future.
